The fine print

Accessibility statement.

Erala is committed to making its job board accessible, in line with the EU Web Accessibility Directive (2016/2102) and the harmonised standard EN 301 549.

Conformance status

This site aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. It is currently partially compliant: most of the site meets the standard, but some content does not yet fully conform, as listed below.

Non-accessible content

The following known issues are being worked on:

  • Applications board (drag-and-drop). Re-ordering job applications between columns currently relies on a pointer (mouse/touch) and is not yet operable by keyboard alone. A keyboard alternative is planned.
  • Interface language. The interface is available in English only. Job postings are shown in their original EU language; multilingual interface support is on the roadmap.
  • Colour contrast. A small number of secondary text and accent combinations are still being verified against the WCAG AA contrast ratios.

What works well

  • A skip link and semantic landmarks so assistive technology can jump to the main content.
  • Full keyboard navigation of the public jobs feed, with visible focus indicators.
  • Labelled form fields, descriptive controls, and ARIA on dialogs and toggles.
  • Reduced-motion support for users who prefer less animation.

Feedback and contact

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or need information from this site in a different format, please tell us — we aim to respond within a reasonable time. Use the Feedback button in the app, or email hello@erala.eu.

Enforcement procedure

If we do not respond satisfactorily to your feedback, you can contact the accessibility monitoring or enforcement body responsible in your EU Member State. For users in Belgium, where Erala is based, this is the federal accessibility oversight authority.

Preparation of this statement
