When I moved to Brussels, I was surprised by how hard it was to find out about open roles in the institutions. I wanted to build a tool that would make it easier for people to find their next opportunity, without the noise and hype of traditional job-hunting platforms.

A few things you might be wondering.

Is Erala an AI tool?

I built Erala with the support of AI, and will use it to improve it. It helps me write applications, but it has its limitations. However, no algorithm to personalize your experience, no auto-apply, no matching score. Just a calm place to help you find and track the roles you are interested in.

How is this different from LinkedIn?

LinkedIn is a network. Erala is an open job board. There's no feed, no posts, no recruiters in your DMs. No data is sold and you see only official job postings.

Do you cover roles outside Brussels?

Yes — In cities where the European Institutions are present, like The Hague, Luxembourg, Vienna, Paris, and remote-Europe. You set your remit during onboarding. We can be narrow or broad.

What does it cost?

It is free. We don't sell your data to anyone. There is no plan to monetize Erala, at the moment.

What about my data?

You own your data: we do not share it with anyone. We have limited the data you can input, so there is nothing to collect. If you wish to delete your data / account, you can do so. We're based in Brussels and we follow EU rules to the letter.
