Contribute to the drafting and dissemination of guidelines and other documents (including training) and issues such as NBIs. Coordinate the organization of meetings and events, in particular INTPA Days, and contribute to the drafting and dissemination of reports and other documents necessary to carry on effective inter-institutional relations and ensure adequate follow-up actions by DG INTPA, such as EXCO.   • INTER-INSTITUTIONAL RELATIONS
  • Assist in the overall coordination of DG INTPA activities, for which the Unit is responsible.
  • Provide support for the coordination of inter-institutional relations within DG INTPA, with other EU institutions and their formations/organs/committees/working groups, when international cooperation and development policy is concerned.
  • Prepare and/or attend meetings, follow up discussions, related to inter-institutional relations.
  • Prepare the organisation of meetings, including internal coordination, such as EXCO or GRI.
  • INSTITUTION DECISION-MAKING MANAGEMENT and SUPPORT
  • Ensure the forward planning, preparation, monitoring and follow-up of the Directorate

General contribution to College and management decision-making (EXCO).

  • OPERATIONAL and ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT and RESOURCES
  • Receive and correctly attribute requests from Cabinet/ Secretariat General for draft replies, direct replies and appropriate follow-up by DG INTPA Unit(s) for correspondence of the

Commissioner/ President.

  • Constant monitoring, tracking and follow-up of replies and their deadlines in co-operation with the units, providing feedback on the status of the files to the Cabinet.
  • Support and facilitate the efficient and effective management of Expert Groups and Special

Groups in DG INTPA.

  • Undertake quality control of draft replies proposed by the Unit(s) and transmit approved replies to the Cabinet for approval and finally to the Secretariat General.
  • Establish and constantly supervise and improve procedures for an efficient and effective processing and treatment of such requests in DG INTPA.
  • Constant monitoring, tracking and follow-up of requests and their deadlines in cooperation with the units, providing feedback on the status of the files to the Secretariat General.
