Eligibility Criteria - you can apply if: You fulfill five general requirements1. Your Education & Experience are in line with our requirements On the closing date for registration, the candidate must have:A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma.Your Language Skills are developed You must produce evidence of excellent written and spoken communications in English and of a satisfactory knowledge of another official language of the European Union.Your Qualifications and ExperienceIt is essential that your professional history cover:• A university degree in Economics, Public Administration, Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance/financial management, or Law.• At least 3 years of professional experience in financial verification as a Financial Verifying Agent to ensure adherence with the EU Financial Regulations/equivalent financial national rules. Advantageous Selection Criteria In addition to the above, the following criteria will be considered:• At least 1 year of professional experience in supporting the management of contracts under FIDIC rules.• EU budgetary and accounting procedures.• Financial management of complex or large-scale contracts. • At least 3 years of working experience of EU/F4E public procurement good practices.• Asset management.• Working experience of relevant electronic tools (SUMMA, ABAC).Competencies The following competences will also be assessed: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Excellent problem-solving skills.• Collaborative and supportive attitude, ability to work across all functions within the Agency.• Ability to drive continuous improvement in processes.• Experience of successfully promoting a culture of sound financial management.
